How to play Where’s Santa Today?
Every day the North Pole village gets busy. Elves carry presents, reindeer wander about, snowmen stand in the snow and the lamps glow along the path. Somewhere in the crowd is Santa himself. Your job is to spot him before the 60 seconds run out.
Look for his big red coat, his white beard, his black belt with the shiny gold buckle and his red hat with a white bobble. Be careful, because the village is full of tricks: some elves wear red coats too, one snowman has a red scarf, the mailbox is red, and Mrs Claus likes red as well. If you tap the wrong thing you lose 3 seconds and the picture gives a little wobble.
The picture is bigger than a phone screen, so drag with one finger to look around and pinch with two fingers to zoom in. On a computer, use the arrow keys to move, plus and minus to zoom, and space to tap the middle of the screen. If you are stuck, little golden sparkles start to twinkle near Santa when the time gets short.
Your score is the number of seconds left when you find him. The picture changes every day and follows the real North Pole year: dark polar nights with lanterns and northern lights in winter, and the bright midnight sun in spring and summer. Everyone in the world gets the same puzzle on the same day, so you can race your family and friends. Your best score stays on this device only.
