Santa is at his village at the North Pole, and you can see him right now on our live 3D map. The map shows his red house, his Toy Factory, the reindeer paddock and the centre square, all at the same moment as the clock. Santa always lives in the same place, so you will always find him at home.
The map also shows what is happening in the village at this moment. Under the map, the "Happening right now" lines tell you what Santa and the elves are doing, such as feeding the reindeer or warming up by the fire pit. Below that, you will see when the next thing happens, in your own time. You do not need to do any sums.
Santa keeps a daily timetable. He has breakfast on the porch at six in the morning, and he does his rounds between his house and the Toy Factory at eight, checking on the elves. He feeds the reindeer at the paddock gate at twelve. At five in the afternoon he reads the day's letters at the mailbox in the centre square. All these times are North Pole time, which is the same as UTC.
The Earth on the map shows real day and night, so you can see where it is dark and where the sun is shining. You can spin the globe and tap things in the village. Santa waves, a reindeer trots over, and the factory doors open when you tap them.
If you are wondering where Santa is at a time when you cannot look, the answer is the same. He is at the North Pole, in his village. From 1 September to 25 December he is busy getting ready for Christmas. The rest of the year he is on his summer break, and the village stays where it is.
