How Elf Jokes works
Every morning one of Santa’s elves climbs onto the little stage in the workshop with a brand new joke. Read the question in the speech bubble and have a think. Do you know the answer? When you are ready, tap the stage or press Tell me. The elf plays a drum-roll, the cymbal crashes, and the answer pops up in a big golden bubble while the elf giggles and the confetti falls.
There is a different joke for every day of the year, and everyone in the world gets the same one on the same day, so you can tell it at breakfast and see who laughs first. Missed a day? The calendar strip at the bottom keeps the last seven jokes, so you can go back and read yesterday’s or last week’s. Tap any day to hear that joke again.
Sharing a joke
Press Share to make a joke card picture with the elf, the question and the answer. A grown-up can send it to grandparents, cousins or friends, or save it to print and stick on the fridge. The jokes are gentle and written for children, so they are good for the school run, lunch boxes and Christmas crackers too.
