    Live cameras

    Santa's village
REC CAM 01 · TOY FACTORY
    --:--:-- North Pole

Our Santa cam lets you look round Santa's workshop and his whole village at the North Pole, live, in 3D. You control the camera yourself. Turn it round, tilt it up or down, and zoom in close. It works on a computer, a tablet or a phone.

The Santa cam is not a video camera pointed at the North Pole. It is a 3D map of the village, and the view moves when you move it. Everything you can see is part of the story, with Santa's red house, the Toy Factory and the stable with nine reindeer.

The big two-storey green Toy Factory has a conveyor belt of presents. Tap the factory doors and they open. The elves live in a little village of five huts, and a giant Christmas tree stands in the centre square, next to the striped North Pole sign and the fire pit.

The workshop is busiest from 1 September to 25 December, when the Toy Factory works through the presents every day. From 26 December to 1 January, the village has New Year fireworks, and you can look for them on the map. The rest of the year, Santa is on his summer break.

Look under the map for the "Happening right now" lines to see what Santa is doing while you look round. The village runs on North Pole time, so the view shows the village as it is now. Enjoy looking round, and remember that you need no account to use the Santa cam.

Here is a quick tour to try. Start with the big view of the whole village. Then turn the camera slowly until you see the stable and the paddock, with the nine reindeer. Next, zoom in on the frozen lake and the sledging hill. Last, find the centre square, with the giant Christmas tree, the striped North Pole sign and the fire pit. Tap the snowman to see him lift his hat.
